We will share a picture of the new sign once it is completed, but we have to give a HUGE thank you to Alan Soucy for volunteering his time and materials to wiring the new sign which included running new wiring and conduit, and we have to thank Teddy Bangs for doing the site work and excavation. Without the help of these two great men we wouldn't have been able to afford the work needed to install the new sign.
Thank you also to the Town of Merrimack for approving our variance needed after the State of NH was so unwilling to be helpful with the location of the sign. When we applied for the sign permit the State sent us a letter threatening to remove our existing sign because the sign is located on State property. The issue was that in 1961 the sign was located on the VFW property and with changes to DW highway the State took more land from us.
